# dYdX Treasury SubDAO

The dYdX Treasury SubDAO was established to handle key financial responsibilities for the dYdX DAO, including but not limited to, forming a Cayman Foundation and multisig for tax and legal certainty, developing a staking program to support dYdX Chain validators, diversifying assets received from the [Community Treasury](https://docs.dydx.community/dydx/modules/community-treasury) and generating returns to ensure adequate runway, and providing financial planning, funding and operational support for the dYdX DAO.
